Privacy Policy
Effective 16 August 2026
Who is responsible
N49 Technologies Inc., carrying on business as N49 Security, is responsible for personal information under our control. Our accountable privacy owner receives questions, requests, and complaints at [email protected].
What we collect
When you contact us, we collect the contact details and information you choose to provide. A website form may also record the form used, submission time, and a unique submission identifier. Please do not send passwords, access tokens, unnecessary sensitive information, or personal information about another person unless you are authorized to share it.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond, understand the request, prepare or deliver work you ask for, protect our contact channels from abuse, keep necessary business records, and meet legal obligations. We do not reuse enquiries for marketing unless we ask separately and you agree.
Service providers and processing locations
Cloudflare hosts, delivers, secures, and measures the website. When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile evaluates network, browser, and device signals to distinguish people from bots. Our mailbox and telecommunications providers process messages and calls when you use those channels. An approved CRM may store accepted enquiries for follow-up. Information handled outside Canada may be subject to the laws of the place where it is processed.
Analytics and browser storage
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page use and performance. Cloudflare describes this service as cookie-free and says it does not collect or use visitors’ personal data. We do not use advertising trackers or build profiles for targeted advertising.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We disclose it only to providers that help us operate and respond, to professional advisers where necessary, when you direct or authorize us, as part of a lawful business transaction with appropriate safeguards, or where law requires or permits disclosure.
Retention and deletion
Enquiry records are kept while we respond and for as long as reasonably needed to document follow-up, resolve a concern, or meet legal obligations. Client and project records are kept for the engagement and any additional period required for contractual, tax, accounting, security, or dispute purposes. Information no longer required is securely deleted or de-identified.
Safeguards
We use access controls, multi-factor authentication, encrypted transport, protected deployment credentials, input limits, security headers, and restricted administrative access. No safeguard can eliminate every risk, so we limit collection and ask you not to submit unnecessary sensitive information.
Your choices and requests
You may ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access, challenge its accuracy, ask for a correction or deletion, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, or raise a concern. We may ask for information to verify your identity and may retain information where law permits or requires it.
Questions and complaints
Email [email protected] or call 1-866-981-0223. We reply within one business day and will investigate privacy concerns. If we do not resolve your concern, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
We update this policy when our services, data practices, providers, or legal obligations materially change. The effective date identifies the current version.
